Milwaukee, Wisconsin is my home town. In 1969 I joined Brenda Lee and toured the USA, Asia and Australia for a year in her band.  In 1982 I moved to Atlanta and became busy in the musical community doing studio recordings, pit orchestras, dances, and whatever else came along. I have gone out on regional tours with Johnny Mathis, Lou Rawls and Steve Lawrence & Edie Gorme.  In the late 1980’s I enjoyed being the featured soloist at Denny’s Swing Club in Hamburg, Germany. Performing in Hamburg opened the door for several European and Asian tours with my own band, Hotlanta Dixieland Jazz. I have had the good fortune to study with jazz greats James Moody and Eddie Daniels. In the late 1990’s Charles Williams heard me performing in a local bookstore. Before long I became the reed player with Charles’ Bonaventure Quartet, now one of Atlanta’s hottest bands.
