    The BVQ Big Band/Double Quartet with Amy singing plays the third Thursday of every month at The Highland Inn Ballroom. (In October, we're playing the last Thursday). This is a very cool 1920s Ballroom in the heart of Virginia Highlands.  This is a perfect place for swing dancers and listeners alike-come out and have some fun! We'll be adding all sorts of new music-new songs from our next cd that we'll be recording in late 2009-and the odd and obscure cover songs that we like to find...

   The BVQ Big Band is Amy singing, Charles and Dave on guitars, Don on saxes, Marla on violin, Joel Morris on drums, Ken Gregory on brass and Mark Bynum on bass!

We play the first and third Sundays of each month if the weather is good!-i.e., 65 degrees or above and no rain-since we play outside in the garden/patio. 
This is one of the city's great restaurants with a wonderful vibe, food and terrific service. Come on out and eat while we serenade you! We'll have the instrumental quartet-Marla on violin, Charles and Dave on guitars and Mark on bass- and we'll be playing gypsy swing, waltzes, Latin and whatever else we feel like.....
