We'll have the Quintet with Amy Pike singing! This will be our last public show until probably August or September!, so please come on out! (Amy is opening her new fabric/craft store in West Asheville called Kitsche, so she's going to stay close to home for a couple of months to concentrate on it). We'll be back at the Highland Inn late summer/early Fall....

11AM-2PM at Wahoo! Brunch in Decatur with the All Strings instrumental Quartet. Every Sunday Marla, Charles, Dave and Mark play gypsy jazz, standards, originals, Latin and more here at this wonderful Decatur Restaurant. Wahoo!
The BVQ Big Band/Double Quartet with Amy singing plays the third, (usually the third, sometimes it gets moved), Thursday of every month at The Highland Inn Ballroom. (In October, we're playing the last Thursday). This is a very cool 1920s Ballroom in the heart of Virginia Highlands. This is a perfect place for swing dancers and listeners alike-come out and have some fun! We'll be adding all sorts of new music-new songs from our next cd that we'll be recording in late 2009-and the odd and obscure cover songs that we like to find...
The BVQ Big Band is Amy singing, Charles and Dave on guitars, Don on saxes, Marla on violin, Joel Morris on drums, Ken Gregory on brass and Mark Bynum on bass!
